Privacy Policy
1. The product and its data scope
Investigo (Chinese name 极科研, brand name Jikeyan) is a clinical research workspace for managing project progress, waiting-on items, submissions, review cycles, and timelines. The product has no patient fields. It does not collect patient names, medical record numbers, diagnoses, or follow-up text, and it has no patient-level record workflow.
Investigo is not a medical device. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or clinical decision support.
2. Local and cloud boundary
- The core workspace works on your device without an account.
- Personal notes stay on your device. They are never part of sync operations, cloud API requests, logs, or AI agent requests.
- Signing in only creates an account session. It does not automatically upload your local projects. Sync and device workspace migration happen only when you start them.
- After you turn on sync, project progress, waiting-on items, submissions, reviews, and timeline events can enter your account's cloud space.
- Team data (team name, member display names, roles, invite codes, node assignments, notifications) is stored in the cloud and made available to collaborators according to their permissions.
3. Data we handle, and why
Data is sent only to the developer-operated service at api.jikeyan.cn. The app contains no tracking and no advertising. Apart from the Tencent WeChat OpenSDK, which is used only for WeChat sign-in and sharing, it contains no third-party SDKs, including crash-reporting, analytics, or attribution SDKs. No data is used to track you.

Patient names, medical record numbers, diagnoses, and follow-up text must not enter logs, crash reports, or AI agent requests. Please do not enter such information anywhere in the app, including feedback.
4. AI and billing
The app has no built-in AI model and no billing. You may connect an AI agent of your own; it works outside the app through the server API. The app does not provide attachment upload or agent conversation storage, and it has no in-app purchases or payment processing. It only reads your current account entitlement.
5. Third-party SDK
- Tencent WeChat OpenSDK (without payment functionality): Provided by Shenzhen Tencent Computer Systems Co., Ltd. It is used solely to enable WeChat sign-in and sharing workspace invitations to WeChat. The SDK handles necessary device information (such as operating system version, device model, and network status) pursuant to Tencent's own rules to complete authentication and sharing; we do not retrieve or store this information from the SDK. It is triggered only when you explicitly tap WeChat sign-in or share an invitation to WeChat. For details, please refer to the WeChat Open Platform.
6. Retention and deletion
You control data on your own device. Deleting your account immediately revokes your sessions and Agent Keys. Your personal workspace is deleted after a 72-hour grace period. Team content is anonymized or kept for the team according to team rules. See the Account Deletion Policy.
